My daily work focuses on REST API development, Kafka-based integrations, relational database modeling and optimization, legacy system modernization, and production support. I work comfortably in high-throughput, distributed environments where concurrency, idempotency, batch performance, and observability are critical. I have solved real production problems using locking strategies, indexes, messaging patterns, and resiliency patterns, always with an emphasis on reliability and maintainability. My experience includes both greenfield development and the evolution of existing codebases. I have designed and delivered services using Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and tactical DDD patterns, while keeping domain logic isolated from framework dependencies and easy to test. I have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, SQL, Apache Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, and observability tooling such as Micrometer, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Grafana, and Kibana. I also work with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and multi-cloud environments. In recent roles, I have contributed to financial transaction workflows, cloud migrations, incident response, and backend modernization. I have implemented transactional outbox patterns, atomic idempotency, optimistic and pessimistic locking, and batch processing improvements to eliminate race conditions, duplicate processing, and performance bottlenecks. I also work in an AI-first engineering environment, using AI tools to accelerate planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and production support.
