After testing ideas with users it was clear there was a desire to use VR for team building. We created a high-energy VR team competition that’s been booked by 500+ companies including Toyota, Amazon and Dell.

When Covid-19 struck, Steamed Egg pivoted and developed six online team activities which launched one month after lock downs began in March 2020. To date they have been experienced by +10,000 guests.

Generated over £500k in revenue from 2018 to 2021.
Delivered +250 in-person VR events and +500 online team events.
Steamed Egg’s customers include Toyota, Google, Salesforce, Amazon, Accenture, Microsoft, Dell, Sky, Unilever, Pfizer, HP, and Snap inc.
Setup Hubspot analytics dashboards to identify opportunities in the sales funnel which led to; i) Increasing order value by 47% from 2020 to 2022 ii) improve demo to close rate from 42% up to 52% in a six month period in 2021.
Lead a cross functional team of 25; 5 full time-staff plus 20 contractors and event hosts.
Defined company vision, product road-map, go-to-market strategy, OKRs and project priorities in order to reach a 70% YOY increase in revenue from 2020 to 2021.
Analysed 2000+ customer feedback data points where we learned hosting was the aspect of our experiences that guests value the most. consequently we invested in a training programme which was taken by more than 25 of our hosts and ultimately resulted in an average 4.9/5 ★ review for Steamed Egg on Google.
Collaborated with SEO agency and web developers to architect a 30+ page website into a high converting landing page funnel system resulting in annual uplift in website leads of 138% YOY.
Used customer insights and competitive analysis to determine product roadmap. I supervised a team of 3 responsible for conceiving, developing & implementing 8 online and in-person team building products over four years.
Steamed Egg also won South England’s ‘Virtual Events Company of the Year’ 2021 and appeared on ITV’s This Morning with Holly and Phil.
