Telecommunication Engineer (Customer Success Engineer)

The specific duties and responsibilities are as follows:
– Leads and coordinates with teams to design, test, implement, and manage new or improved technical operations.
– Plans, designs, and installs communication networks based on optical fibers, wireless communications, radio, TV, mobile, security systems, etc.
– Provides direction to the team for identifying and resolving technical issues and seeks opportunities for continuous improvements.
– Provides strong leadership and technical guidance across functional teams in order to manage projects.
– Builds, mentors, and grows the development team and serves as a champion for a positive team environment.
– Commits to reasonable development schedules and delivers solutions on time with high quality.
– Leads and manages 3rd party contractors and service/solution providers.

The specific duties and responsibilities are as follows:

– Leads, with the Dean, the work to develop and implement the Faculty’s research strategy and operational plan.
– Liaises closely with other members of the Faculty Management Team including the Faculty Manager and others.
– Advises and leads, in conjunction with the Dean and others to develop strategic engagement with selected overseas universities or organizations with complementary profiles to enhance research quality, international research collaborations, student experience (both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels), and recruitment of high-quality national/international staff and students.
– Involves in discussions relating to new academic appointments to ensure that they are aligned with Faculty’s strategic plans.
– Promotes the involvement of early career academics in the Faculty’s strategic thinking and development and the identification of relevant fellowship opportunities.
– Represents the Faculty at the appropriate University Committees.
– Represents the Dean in matters related to national/international relationships of the Faculty, both in Albania and overseas, when required.
– Encourages Faculty members to participate in the National/Regional/International Networks.

-Maintain existing customers and troubleshoot issues related to IPTV and their internet networks;
-Support and configure IPTV technologies and products, including decoders, streamers,
transcoders, VoD servers, MAG devices, android boxes, Firesticks, STB, IPTV monitoring, and different applications (Smart IPTV, Kodi, etc).
– Help customers with network devices configurations (Huawei, Cisco, Mikrotik, ZTE, etc);
– Support the setting up VPNs and explain the use;
– Integrate IPTV solutions with provisioning and billing systems;
-Correspond with customers in a timely, accurate manner;
-Troubleshoot, analyze, register/ log, and follow up on all technical issues;
– Providing outstanding email/chat-based support;

– Video Summarization.
– Development of General Concepts of Industrial Recording Abstract Algorithms in Python.
– Test and propose new solutions

-Network Monitoring;
– Install, configure, and maintain devices;
-Nodes and network devices management via ping, SNMP, etc. – Managing
monitoring platforms (Cacti, Dude, Orion, Observium, etc.);
-Problem Reporting;
-Developing solutions and utilizing standard operating procedures;
-DSLAM management and error reporting;
-End Users’ LAN/WAN problems and CPE configuration;
-Fiber Optics and configuration and troubleshooting;
-OLT base configuration and troubleshooting – PON network management and error reporting;

– Project fiber optics networks (using single mode or multi mode ones, combined with different optics sources including here laser or led).
– Calculate ranges of parameters for an optic network;
– Design a network based on the client’s requirements and test it;
– Measure numeric aperture, optic power, distance, etc;
– Develop laboratories of electronic systems.
