I have 8-year experience in statistics, machine learning, and data science. I also lead product initiatives in my current company, from ideation and research to coordinating dependency teams and implementation.
I am available to start immediately, looking to work remotely from Slovakia and happy to start on-site and have quarterly or so visits.
I have 4-year corporate experience in Machine Learning modelling, starting from an 80+ page MSc NLP thesis at UCL in named entity recognition on unstructured text. The degree involved Google Deepmind lectures. I averaged the course grades at 79%. At work, implemented models ranged from rule-based to tree-based, customised neural networks and transformer-based models. They serve bankers and brokers daily to replace manual form-filling of financial products. I also worked on a neural-based recommender system, which opened my thinking to other setups than standard supervised learning. In my last job at Cervest, I obtained hands-on experience in technical product development of various tasks that occurred dynamically. I needed to coordinate (between) them, including occasional Scrum mastering. I also improved my skills in quantitative product development, Python development (validation, big data, Athena, S3, unit tests, new coding principles like separation of concerns, pure functions, POLA), PySpark and Databricks (accomplished course Databricks ML Associate), etc.
In my free time, I work on creating an AI board game. I also spent 4 years as a CEO of a delivery food app.
