Sonia Class of ’97 graduated in 2021 from Rome University of Fine Arts in photography in conjunction with the end of her university course she began working in the film industry in the camera department mainly as second assistent camera but also as a video-assist. The world of the set introduced her not only to photographic storytelling but also to writing. During her journey she also begins work as a video colorist for several independent short and feature films, video content, and editor. She is currently studying documentary directing and cinema of the real at the headquarters of the experimental center of cinematography in Palermo.
I am a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a strong background in project management, client success, and technical analysis. Holding a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Ottawa.
I am a native Brazilian portuguese speaker, I am currently volunteering for TED Educational, working with translation, transcription and subtitling, I have done translation work with local businesses, which have greatly increased my skills as a translator.
My excellent attention to detail and strong spelling and grammar knowledge combine to make me a terrific candidate. Additionally I have a Master’s Degree in Education and have almost 30 years of experience teaching English Language Arts and writing.
