I’m Macey Conrad, a University of Kansas graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Unified Early Childhood and a Master’s in Low Incidence Special Education. With 5 years of experience in education, including leading teams and supporting students with complex needs, I’m excited to bring my advocacy, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills to new opportunities. Collaborated with general educators, service providers, and families in order to incorporate individual supports in a variety of settings for students ranging from kindergarten to 2nd grade, including multiple, high, and low incidence disabilities. Applied knowledge of inclusion to transition students from a specialized setting to their grade level general education settings while learning alongside same aged peers. Coordinated and implemented, at the classroom level, appropriate student assessments and utilize assessment results in a prescriptive, constructive manner to promote student learning.
