Serve as lead project manager on all data-related projects, including:
– Research, design, and populate data-based scorecards for 70+ Illinois-based legislators
– Report on 10-year impact of unionization on charter schools for external client.
-Authored briefing on immigration programs delivered by network member schools. Conducted six interviews and reviewed related best practices and scholarly research.
Regularly gather, mine, sort, and analyze data from nearly 4,000 schools and 900 districts within the State of Illinois using Python, R, and other tools. Use Tableau to produce complex interactive dashboards for multiple metrics, such as graduation rates, student enrollment, and other education indicators.
Provide data consulting and analysis support to 33 member networks. Meet with school leaders as needed.
Respond to 100+ internal data requests annually to drive program development, lobbying strategies, and membership growth.
Leverage data tools to facilitate knowledge transfer and improve data-driven decision-making. Prepare presentations for senior leadership across multiple content areas, collaborating with program staff as needed.
Participate in Pie Network Data Research Working Group and present on various topics (e.g., enrollment decline) as requested.
Support internal and external events and meetings. Represent organization at community events and conferences.

Trained, coached, and managed a team of six AmeriCorps volunteers in teaching best practices to meet organizational goals. Delivered monthly professional development sessions to AmeriCorps volunteers based on needs assessments.
