Iβm Ali Romero, and I am a designer and photographer residing in Northern New Mexico. I hold a BFA in Media Arts, with a focus on Visual Communication, from New Mexico Highlands University. My areas of expertise include design, photography, and UI/UX, but I also possess knowledge and interest in marketing, social media marketing, and installation design.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts with a concentration in visual communication, through NMHU I was also able to participate in a couple internships, one with 516 Arts and one with Jemez Historic site.

I am a freelance professional offering services in graphic design, photography, social media marketing, and content creation. In addition, I can provide assistance with
website design, user interface building, and updating as needed. I have been fortunate to work with several great clients, including Ole NM, Rainbow Road Therapies, Taos School of Music, State of NM for All Together NM, NMHU Media Arts, and the Manitos Community Archive.
During my time at MyaKai Creative, I held the roles of intern, junior graphic designer, and producer. Through my work there, I had the opportunity to work on exciting projects with a variety of companies, both local to New Mexico and national brands.
During my time at University Relations, I was a graphic designer and a university
photographer working with multiple departments throughout New Mexico Highlands University to create promotional and recruitment materials, as well as headshots and athletic photography.
In my time at the busiest Vans store in Texas, I held multiple roles, including sales
associate, floor supervisor, and assistant manager. Working as part of a team, we were able to make a significant impact on the storeβs revenue, increasing it from 1.3 million to 3 million. As an assistant manager, I was responsible for effectively managing a team of over 20 individuals and handling the hiring process for new employees at my location.
