Responsible for end-to-end-services ensuring a client’s shipments are properly setup with appointments, drop & picks, live load/unload, and whatever means the client needs for smooth transportation services.
Inputting and executing loads for dispatch/pick-up according to clients’ needs and requirements while remaining flexible and able to mold to difficult customer demands.
Building key relationships with both truckers and customers while proactively communicating via phone or email follow ups.
Container tracking to avoid detention, demurrage, per diem, storage, etc.
Strong understanding of Import Customs process related to freight/cargo releases, pickup numbers, clearance procedures, Rail/CY operations, etc. while acting as a lead facilitator to keep containers moving.
Ensuring all documentation regarding drayage shipments are correct, clear and communicated to the appropriate parties; proactively identifying when missing details will causes problems before they occur.
