Coordinator

Manage flow of production, fruiting schedules, and laboratory tasks for a boutique farm focused on high quality. Daily tasks include the harvesting and maintaining of mushrooms and tomato plants; planning orders of the materials necessary to run production of up to hundreds of pounds of product for markets a week; scheduling, performing lab techniques for cultivation of mycelium for spawn, and keeping logs of all production techniques and amounts. Knowledgeable of the characteristics of different species and their growth patterns. Maintain cleanliness and order of greenhouses. Lead team on tasks and train new hires. Collecting data and tracking output during production.

Maintain, monitor and upkeep of lawn, vegetable, citrus gardens and wilderness areas, including best practices of irrigation, pruning, seasonal trimming, invasive species control and restoration. Watch for plant health and apply organic plant health care products at the request of the horticulturalist. Create spreadsheets tracking data of plant variety outcomes, quality, and planting schedules. Keep a daily log of landscape activities and attend weekly meetings.

Managed phone calls, emails, applications for hundreds of current and new clients. Responsible for managing the delivery program, including packaging meals, routing deliveries, and obtaining special orders. Ensured volunteers were satisfied and equipped to perform their duties. Provided customers and partner organizations excellent customer service and support. Assisted staff with various projects and soup-making, as needed.
