I played a key role in ensuring exceptional client experiences. My Responsibilities included managing client inquiries, facilitating account transactions, pioneering projects relative to the client experience and financial reporting, and providing administrative support to the team. Strong communication and organizational skills were essential for me to build and maintain positive client relationships and interactions. My role also involved collaborating with the internal teams to address specific client needs effectively and to be able to contribute to the overall success of the firm that year.

At USBank I was responsible for facilitating international trade transactions. My role here involved ensuring compliance with trade regulations, processing letters of credit, and coordinating trade finance activities. Attention to detail and knowledge of trade documentation were critical to be able to manage the end-to-end trade process. My position required effective communication with clients, banks, and internal stakeholders to ensure that trade operations maintained a positive status. So my role was integral to supporting the overall global business initiatives and the maintaining of the bank’s high standards in trade services.

As a second year intern I was able to study the world of financial markets. My responsibilities included analyzing global securities, conducting market research, and assisting in portfolio management. I worked closely with seasoned professionals, gained exposure to various asset classes and honed my analytical skills. My role there offered a unique opportunity to contribute to decision-making processes, learn about risk management, and understand the intricacies of global financial markets. It was an exciting chance to explore and make a meaningful impact in on the global securities management team.

My first internship was at JPMorgan which placed me in what felt like a realm of hedge fund operations. My internship involved supporting the hedge fund services team, which had to do with fund accounting, performance reporting, and risk management. I gained a hands-on experience in evaluating alternative investment strategies and contributing to the delivery of, I guess you can say high profile, client services. This internship provided a unique opportunity for me to work closely with industry experts, understand complex financial instruments, and I developed a solid foundation in hedge fund services within an organization that taught me how to operate in the work space.
