• Assists Donor Center Director with donor center’s daily operations and handles. managerial responsibilities in their absence.
• Trained as Sr. Medical Screener, Sr. Phlebotomist, Donor floor technician and Sr Processing Technician to assist with the workflow in center during bottlenecks.
• Ensures facility SOPs, State and Federal (FDA) Rules and Regulations, OSHA regulations, and CLIA requirements are followed.
• Hires, motivates, and evaluates center personnel based on established guidelines.
• Accountable for all area operations in donor center.
• Responsible for managing and making employee schedules.
• Designated trainer in all operational areas except training physician substitutes.
• Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
• Travelled to other location to provide support including training center staff.

• Registered new and current plasma donors.
• Conducted basic screening procedures (e.g., reviewed health related documents, took vital signs, and performed finger sticks)
• Cleaned blood or plasma spills and performed proper procedure for the disposition of biohazardous waste.
• Educated new donors on the use of products made from donated plasma.
• Oversaw all donor screening personnel including evaluating and coaching employees.
• Was accountable for all screening area operations (e.g., donor flow facilitation and employee supervision).

• Worked closely with the Student Hiring and Training Administrators in the unit.
