The Japan Times is Japan’s largest English language newspaper. Responsibilities included covering social, legal, financial and political news in the National News department and interviews and investigative reporting at the features section, including three years as court reporter at the Tokyo District and High Courts.
In the last 6 years I was a columnist for The Japan Times Weekly magazine.

Operated as the Japanese interface for existing and potential Japanese clients on behalf of the law firm, issuing newsletters in Japanese and English about legal and tax updates, organizing seminars in cooperation with JCC (Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in The Netherlands) and Dujat (Dutch and Japanese Trade Federation)
2013 October Distributors and Risks seminar about distributor contracts and compliance, 2013 November Collective Dismissals seminar with the case study of an existing Japanese company, 2014 May International Tax: Substance Requirements / Dismissals and Business Culture Seminar, 2014 June Data Privacy Law seminar.
Planned and negotiated about seminar topics, organization and writing articles about them in the JCC Kawaraban magazine.

Head hunted by HVG Law to join and conduct similar customer interface function I conducted at Baker&McKenzie for Japanese companies, in Dutch and EU legal fields such as Corporate Law, Employment Law, Data Privacy Law (GDPR), Competition Law, Anti-Bribery Law and Compliance.
Conducted several seminars on above topics with JCC (Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in The Netherlands) and Dujat (Dutch and Japanese Trade Federation), and published several legal articles in the JCC Kawaraban magazine

JCO is a Brussels-based company that provides management and business culture trainings. In my role as Managing Director for the Netherlands market, I am in regular contact with over 350 Japanese companies in The Netherlands.

Joined All Nippon Airways in Management Trainee Program.
As assistant Manager, Passenger Services and Planning Airport Operations, my responsibilities included setting up passenger handling arrangements at new international destinations in Europe and Oceania (flights such as Narita-Moscow-Paris, Kansai-Rome, Narita-Brisbane-Sydney), negotiations and passenger service coordination with joint operation partners such as Austrian Airlines and SABENA, implementation and evaluation of international passenger service standards, establishing, implementing and evaluating new passenger, baggage handling policies and service standards with international airlines e.g. at IATA, SITA and EDS conferences.
