Talk Verticals is the team within Spotify responsible for building the best tools for podcast creators. We have three platforms that help us do that: Anchor (the platform that allows you to create, distribute, monetize, and grow a podcast, all for free), Spotify for Podcasters (the platform that makes it easy to understand and engage with your listeners on Spotify), and Spotify Greenroom (the platform that allows live audio creation).

What you’ll do:
Day-to-day platform management, which includes creating, writing and publishing posts
Calendar management, staying on top of and keeping social calendar up to date
Community management, engaging with Anchor’s and Spotify for Podcasters’ lively podcast community
Content management: crafting organized and robust file management systems and being the central point of contact for content to flow through
On the ground executor for product launches, campaigns / any posting requirements
Participate in social listening and build engaging content based on what’s buzzing
Uses Crowd Tangle (or other tool) to monitor online trends and brings Anchor into online conversations around events or hashtags
Ideate social concepts and franchises and bring them through to completion.
Coordinate creative and calendars with international marketers and creator partners.
Analyze performance of organic pages and craft reporting strategy, developing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and communicating this analysis and findings to relevant internal groups
Produce assets in Photoshop or final Cut/Adobe Premiere or with other creative programs
Assist with launch of new channels, i.e. TikTok
Who you are:
You have 3-5+ years of experience leading Twitter, Instagram, Facebook channels, with TikTok experience being a plus. Nuanced understanding of each platform and how to optimize copy and content across these platforms
You have solid understanding of Social content management systems and standard methodologies
You have experience creating static assets and editing with Photoshop or other creative programs (animated assets and video editing a plus).
You’re analytical and action driven, turn data into action, being able to define and refine content strategies based on performance insights
An excellent sense of humor, love writing, and all things comedy
A limitless creativity, obsession with social media, and a keen eye for detail.
A natural trend tracker and keep up with all the major news and updates in the digital and consumer media space
You are organized, detailed, and a true phenomenal teammate
You know everything there is to know on social media, and can become a hard-working brand ambassador for all things Anchor and Spotify
Ideally but not required: You’re a passionate about podcasts (or eager to start one) and someone who can relate to being a podcaster
