Joining a hard-working, agile team of product marketing managers, content creators, web operations, and engineering, the Senior Site Marketing Manager will drive website merchandising projects via the scientific method from initial concept to testing and reporting. Performance targets include funnel conversion, revenue, and new customer acquisition. The ideal candidate is experienced in e-commerce and website merchandising leveraging tools like Salesforce, Google Analytics & Full Story to build optimized web experiences. They are excited to use personas and customer journey maps and use data analysis to uncover insights and testing opportunities to drive revenue and influence visitor behavior.

What you’ll get to do…

  • Think Customer First. Understand our customers’ needs and work with partners to understand the best brand and product positioning that give our target audience reasons to believe in GoDaddy
  • Work with key partners (growth marketing, product marketing) to develop quarterly plans to support their initiatives and drive overall site performance improvements.
  • Build a merchandising strategy and clearly communicate it
  • Use tools such as Full Story & Google Analytics, along with industry best practices, market research and user testing to develop test hypotheses and drive the merchandising roadmap.
  • Experiment iteratively with page copy, visuals, placements to drive increased performance and share findings with key partner teams
  • Analyze, deliver, and present updates on completed tests.
  • Prioritization of merchandising and roadmap, understanding opportunity sizing & estimated impacts. Build & size business cases for opportunities to prioritize efficiency
  • Conduct experimentation analytics, including pre-test opportunity sizing, reading results, and establishing next steps
  • Understand core GoDaddy products and add-ons to suggest bundles, cross-sells, and up-sells.

Your experience should include…

  • 5+ years’ experience with eCommerce, website merchandising and optimization.
  • Ability to use analytics tools and customer research to understand user behavior and optimize toward goals through iterative testing & optimization
  • Strong understanding of A|B and other testing viewpoints using scientific methods
  • Strong critical thinking skills with an ability to understand user intent and translate it into highly converting web experiences
  • Experience with Tableau, Google Analytics and A|B testing platforms to analyze test results and forecast potential revenue impact.
  • A results-oriented and innovative spirit to thrive in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to implement projects with an agile cross-functional team for peak results
  • Project and time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to run multiple projects at once for many cohorts of customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related experience.

Location: We prefer any US-based city with a GoDaddy hub, but we’re open to fully remote in the US. Your manager is based in Iowa.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

The Senior Site Marketing Manager is responsible for merchandising on the website.
