What you’ll do
As a Senior Accountant, you have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an efficient monthly, quarterly and annual close and financial reporting process. You pay extraordinary attention to detail and have the ability to deliver results under deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a constantly evolving environment.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager.
Responsibility
- Record, analyze and interpret financial statements
- Participate in month-end close, creating and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations and meeting all required reporting deadlines
- Focus on the following areas: deferred costs, accruals and prepaids
- Develop, implement, and document new policies and procedures to enhance the workflow of the department and the company
- Participate in other special projects and analyses as needed
- Support annual audits and quarterly reviews

What you bring
Basic
- BA/BS degree with a CPA or equivalent
- 5+ years accounting experience including Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience
Preferred
- High degree of analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Experience in a large corporation or SaaS technology company
- Experience with Oracle or other large well-known ERP or accounting systems
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PC
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with Google Workspace
Wage Transparency
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $93,500 – $143,175 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $87,400 – $120,175 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $87,400 – $128,525 base salary
