Grafana Labs is seeking an experienced legal operations professional to support the company’s Corporate and Legal team on legal ops, contracting, intellectual property, and compliance matters. We are seeking a candidate with experience in both commercial and corporate matters, who will build collaborative relationships across a rapidly-growing company and with a variety of internal and external parties. This critical role will not only support the current legal operations and compliance needs but also help create a legal operations framework and help scale the function within Grafana Labs.

Responsibilities:

Support legal team operations on matters ranging from commercial (inbound and outbound) to intellectual property to corporate.
Identify, create, and improve legal workflows, focusing on efficiency, scale, and quality control, such as those related to the negotiation, signature, and storage of agreements, and the tracking of contractual obligations.
Source and implement legal technology and tools (such as CLM tools).Administering and project managing legal team programs / processes.
Drive strategic projects for the legal team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Assist with the implementation and management of legal team metrics, benchmarking, and reporting.

Corporate & Other Projects

Review, track, update, and/or maintain corporate, legal, contracting, compliance, and other key records (e.g., minute books, regulatory filings, material agreements, correspondence).
Support M&A / general corporate activities, such as due diligence, corporate governance, tax, corporate filings, venture financings, and compliance.
Assist on special projects, as requested.

Qualifications

5+ years of in-house experience in a legal operations, management, or paralegal role.
Exceptional management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Experience reporting to and effectively interacting with senior leadership.
