Who will I be working with?

  • You will be working with and effectively communicating concepts and ideas with our Art Directors and Design Teams.
  • You will also interface with and work with multiple producers and departments under tight deadlines, and short timelines.
  • You will work individually and as a team member.

What will the work look like for me?

The Digital Artist work consists of creation, layout, and execution of motion graphics for sports, retail, and commercial markets. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design and produce 2D and 3D motion graphics, from concept to completion, for LED video display systems and consumer/fan enhancement.
  • Design and build high-level broadcast quality motion graphics.
  • Have a solid understanding of visual storytelling structure and how motion-graphics effectively integrate into that structure.
  • Work individually and as a team member to solve complex design challenges and develop creative visual solutions to those challenges.
  • Work to solve complex design challenges and develop creative visual solutions.
  • Work with art directors and creative teams to understand project scope and design objectives.
  • Work with editors, producers, and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
  • Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention, and organization of graphic files.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest motion and graphic design techniques.
  • Log and track current projects as performed; keep supervisor and Project Manager informed of projects’ status.
  • Assist other designers and Art Director as needed; share design ideas with other team members.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design and/or Animation or a Bachelor’s degree plus equivalent design experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years motion-graphic design experience in streaming, digital or TV marketing and promotion, preferably at a broadcast or cable network, major studio, or creative agency.
  • Must have a versatile design background and a submit for our review a video demo reel that showcases a wide range of creative styles.
  • Must be extremely proficient with Cinema 4D including modeling, texturing, lighting, animating, use of dynamics, MoGraph, render optimization, etc.
  • Must be extremely proficient with Adobe After Effects and be able to design and animate quickly in both 2D and 3D.
  • Knowledge of HTML coding.
  • Experience with broadcast real-time graphics is a plus.
  • Exceptional creative design background, with highly developed conceptual and animation skills.
  • Understanding of the implementation of design elements in live sports, retail, commercial, and broadcast environments is a must.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be flexible, detail-oriented, deadline driven and a good collaborator.
  • Proven ability to work independently.
  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgement.
  • Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements, which includes following safety protocols related to COVID-19.
