Our People Operations team is looking for an Associate Manager of Benefits and Immigration to join us. In this role, you will lead the management of benefits for current and new hires, as well as compliance and full-cycle visa process for employees in our global offices. You will be a critical part of ensuring our employees have access to resources and the support they need through onboarding and employment. This role will be diverse in day to day responsibilities, and requires high attention to detail, as well as knowledge of documentation and benefit practices.


  • Health Plan Administration
    • Review of enrollments & completion of deduction spreadsheet for Payroll updates
    • Audit payroll deductions
    • Maintain & track enrollments & terminations in Allstate Identity Theft
    • Collaborate with Workday team to identify issues or errors within Benefits Platform & opportunities for system improvements
  • Employee Service and Education
    • Maintain Benefits Page on theRoot (intranet)
    • Manage the benefits email box and Jira Tickets
    • Assist Sr. Manager with presenting at annual OE
    • Assist with conducting Manager Trainings & creating content
    • Assist with drafting schedule of employee communications and communication plans
  • Leave of Absence
    • Submit LOA payroll changes to Payroll team for processing
    • Manage vendor relationship with Matrix
    • Audit semi-monthly payroll to confirm ee on LOA are paid correctly
    • Assist employees, HRBPs and Managers with LOA questions
    • Assist employees, HRBPs and Managers with LOA questions
  • 401K Management
    • Update 401k content on the intranet
    • Assist with annual plan audit & work with auditors to supply required materials
    • Collaborate with Plan Advisor – Merrill Lynch on Quarterly Education Events
  • Immigration
    • Manage I-9 compliance with regards to new hires who require visas
    • Maintain Public access Files for Compliance
    • Manage full-cycle Visa Process for every employee including global offices
    • Liase with Fragomen (outside counsel) on visa matters and review cases on bi-weekly calls
    • Proactively follow up with employees and Fragomen to adhere to agreed upon deadlines
    • Update leadership & key stakeholders on changes to immigration regulations and impact to business

  • Experience with benefits administration, including at least one open enrollment cycle
  • Experience with professional relocation relationships- both vendor and employees
  • Demonstrates knowledge of US immigration laws and visa types, as well as international visas
  • Experience working for an international company with location/geographic fluidity amongst its employees a plus
