As theย Sr. Manager, Global Onboarding, you will build programs, processes, and infrastructure to deliver a unique and memorable onboarding experience for our new Bolt employees. You will leverage your expertise to develop and execute innovative programs, resources, and enablements that meet us where we are today and set us up for success as we rapidly grow. This role will push beyond day one orientation, set the standard for new hire induction, and is a chance to partner across our People Ops, Talent, and Employee Engagement teams. This role will report to the VP of People Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • You will design and maintain a scalable onboarding organization in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • This position will work closely with peer managers, as well as cross-functional teams and leaders in all areas of the business
  • This manager will be accountable to strategize, plan, and execute initiatives as it aligns with program visions, balancing individual experiences with Boltโ€™s culture and vision
  • You will lead a team responsible for defining and implementing the overarching design of our onboarding program
  • Grow and maintain a high performing team through hiring, onboarding, mentoring, developing, and coaching
  • Set vision and strategy for curating and executing on innovative, scalable, differentiated, and business impacting Onboarding Programs
  • Develop a roadmap to align with company priorities, identifying gaps, risks
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, Recruiting, HRBPs, People Operations, and Employee Engagement, and communicate progress and shifts to leadership and partners
  • Maintain full visibility of project statuses and potential roadblocks across the portfolio, support resolution of cross-team risks, enable program intersections, integrated processes, and goals

Requirements:

  • 3-5 yrs of work experience, preferably in training facilitation and instructional design, or recruiting/people operations
  • Strong program/project management experience with a track record of improving operational efficiencies
  • Facilitation experience with an ability to foster engagement from participants
  • Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion to determine appropriate action
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills
  • A proven track record of mentorship, managing and developing a team
