We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join Coursedog and help us communicate how Coursedog’s integrated solution empowers higher education administrators and educators to execute exceptional educational experiences for students. This role will require translating strategic insight into vision and action, cross-functional enthusiasm mixed with hands-on execution, skillful storytelling and messaging, and a genuine interest in higher education and Coursedog’s solution and mission for breaking down barriers in academic operations.

This role will specifically focus on digging into the value of the Coursedog product and effectively communicating to our prospects and existing customers how each module brings value to their campuses and students. This role acts as a partner to Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams at Coursedog, and should be focused on continually improving the core product & customer experience. You’ll spend time conducting meaningful inbound research with our customers and market, and drive alignment across go-to-market, product, and customer success teams.

This is a 100% remote position based in the United States and will report to the Director of Product Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute intelligence gathering, development, and execution of the wider product marketing strategy for key buyer personas, institution types, and use cases
  • Conduct ongoing market research to inform our segmentation, positioning, messaging, and lifecycle strategies
  • Monitor performance metrics including revenue, pricing, deal size, sales cycle, markets and sales opportunity targets
  • Create and assist in the execution and adoption of differentiated narratives based on audience and segmentation and work collaboratively across Product, Sales, Customer Success, to iterate on positioning and the execution of go-to-market campaigns – always taking into account key external context and internal stakeholders
  • Iterate on Coursedog’s messaging and work together with our wider Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to create prospect and customer-facing assets based on that (pitch docs and decks, videos, blog posts, adoption materials, emails, website content, etc).
  • Develop the sales and training materials for select solutions & institutions
  • Develop and build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders in an effort to collaborate and drive results for the marketing and sales organization
  • Collaborate with marketing, product and customer success teams to source institutional partner stories and turn those into compelling content pieces
  • Be a platform evangelist and spokesperson communicating with internal audiences (sales engineering, product, business development, regional sales directors, customer success, marketing, etc.)

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

  • An empathetic communicator; a talented Product Marketer with a passion for the Coursedog mission and product
  • Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of how a product works and what our users need from a technical solution
  • 2-5 years product marketing experience for B2B SaaS solutions
  • You’re a natural collaborator and organizer ー you’re excited and experienced in working cross-functionally
  • Proven experience crafting compelling content & messaging
  • Previous experience working directly with sales teams and executing enablement activities
  • Audience research, segmentation, and persona development are all initiatives you’re familiar with and have experience in
  • Problem-solving excites you – You are a self-motivated “doer” and ownership is the backbone of your professional identity
  • Comprehension and relevance in your communication act as your north star in the content and assets you produce
