We are looking for a dynamic leader-doer who can jump into the weeds to polish copy and video storyboarding, while also delivering high-level strategic roadmaps that build the Coursedog brand to reflect the results our product driving is at leading higher ed institutions. Experience speaking to the higher ed space and working in a B2B marketing team will support the Director of Brand & Content to empathize and speak to our audience of institutional leaders.

This is a 100% remote position reporting to the Director of Demand Generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving content and thought leadership strategy to produce a high-quality blog, long-form, video, and other content that builds awareness and supports lead generation
  • Setting strategic direction for our PR efforts and executing on increasing our coverage in key industry publications
  • Define and deliver the direction for the Coursedog brand, from storytelling to visual identity, brand experiences, and more
  • Supporting our product marketing and demand generation functions to deliver exceptional branded experiences
  • Championing the Coursedog brand in the wider world and acting as a steward for its consistency and quality standards
  • Proposing new directions for adding value via content to our higher education audiences
  • Managing and mentoring that enables the Content and Brand team to achieve targets

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

  • 5-10 years of experience leading brand or content marketing
  • 2-4 years working in a B2B SaaS organization, preferably with an enterprise focus
  • A background working with or speaking to the needs of an audience that includes higher ed administrators
  • Previously managed a team of content creators, designers, communicators, and/or brand marketers
  • Demonstrated history of generating compelling, multimedia content (portfolio preferred)
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Deep knowledge of the tools involved in content creation, from video to audio to graphic design and illustration, and experience managing freelancers
