Creative Content Strategist

A greatentry-leveldigital marketing position, ideal for someone who perhaps is a relatively recent college grad who might have little or no post-college experience, but has some good skills they’ve gained through internships, college classes, or a lifetime of being tethered to a phone, tablet or laptop.

Our ideal candidate will impress us with their knowledge and skills inone or twoof the following areas. We definitely don’t expect that you’re knowledgeable inallof these areas…in that case you’d be smarter than us, and we should be applying to work for you:

• Posting engaging content on Facebook
• Posting engaging content on other social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, SnapChat and LinkedIn
• Managing online communities, and responding to people’s comments and questions.
• Organizing and managing Facebook groups
• Running ads on social media platforms (primarily Facebook)
• Managing and soliciting online reviews and responding to comments, especially negative reviews (possibly using a vendor such as reputation.com)
• Podcasting/Audio Production/Radio Ads
• Managing Google Business Pages
• SEO and Paid Search (Google and Bing Ads)
• Creating print collateral and brochures (so it’s not just “digital…but good old fashioned print sometimes)
• Creating ads: print and/or digital
• Creating videos: either producing and/or writing and/or shooting and/or editing.
• Still photography
• Managing websites/creating content for websites
• Analyzing Google Analytics
• E-mail campaigns
• Writing: whether it’s news stories, news releases, blogs, creative writing…anything. Good writing is a basic building block of what we do.
• Planning/organizing marketing events

We do not need a graphic designer…but rather, someone who can work with and give direction to graphic designers.

We are not looking for a web developer/builder….but rather, someone who can work with and give direction to web developers.

Ability to multi-task and juggle many different things at one time is crucial. Knowledge of Microsoft products like Word (obviously), but also PowerPoint and Excel would be very helpful and necessary.

By the way, our company is a highly respected local non-profit organization that owns and runs a nationally acclaimed rehabilitation hospital (Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady), seven local nursing homes, six local senior communities, one of the largest hospice programs in the country (Community Hospice), an even larger visiting nurse program (Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association), and two Senior Care programs.
