Razorfish is hiring a contract/freelance Business Development Manager to start ASAP for a 3 month contract (with potential for fulltime).ย This is a remote position, we will consider candidates in major cities including Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Cleveland, Austin, Detroit.

The business development manager is a crucial orchestrator of key growth initiatives at Razorfish, responsible for owning the day-to-day coordination of business pursuits and internal projects that will ultimately nurture the growth of the business and its people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fielding, organizing and evaluating inbound new business opportunities against key Razorfish qualification criteria to support strategic growth and client portfolio diversification
  • Orchestrating the end-to-end business development process from intake to briefing to RFP/RFI submission alongside key pursuit teams
  • Building credentialing presentations and submissions for pursuits in early stage
  • Setting meeting invites, agendas and establishing next steps
  • Notetaking and communication across all key pursuit stakeholders to drive progress and alignment
  • Support the development of pitch background materials including business research, competitive landscape assessments and relationship mapping using Razorfish toolsets
  • Spearhead pipeline reporting alongside Sr. BD leadership, finance and account teams to track growth performance monthly and quarterly
  • Maintain pipeline updates and accuracy of opportunity tracking from early stage to late stage in Salesforce and other platforms; managing and communicating to cross-discipline leads key needs; staying on the pulse of all portfolio new business generation
  • Work closely with marketing teams to track case study generation; helping to identify case study needs as it relates to new business pursuits
  • Research and build background documentation about potential clients for pursuit team to leverage throughout pitch presentation
  • Maintain Razorfish response repository collaborating with key teams for pitch materials

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, pursuit management, or business development; agency experience highly preferred
  • BA required business, English, journalism, communications, or related field(s)
  • Strong attention to detail; excellence in communications skills-verbal and written
