This role will lead the charge to develop messaging and content that speaks to target audiences and inspires them to act. Based on marketing strategies and objectives, this role will have the opportunity to write, edit and proofread a wide variety of written content, communications, and publications for B2B customer experience audiences. This role is responsible for thoroughly learning about subject matter, understanding its context and implications, and distilling those learnings into succinct and compelling content. This person will engage in concepting and content mapping, writing for product launches, demand generation campaigns, emails, landing pages, social media posts, lead magnets and other deliverables.
First Month: Acquaint yourself with our brand voice and tone, read existing content, and learn our project management methodology. Hit the ground running by meeting with subject matter experts to develop assigned thought leadership blog content, interviewing them, writing, and posting content.
First Three Months: Begin contributing to larger scale revenue generation activity that develops leads and converts audiences to action. Fully own your workload, working with your manager to ensure that you are learning the details of our value proposition, products, and offerings.
First Six Months: Own content aligned to specific marketing initiatives by industry, technology partner, or specific business unit. Contribute to long-form content initiatives like eBooks, whitepapers, and lead magnets. Develop all content related to assigned campaigns, including emails, landing pages, social posts, paid ads, promotional content, and more.
First Year: Work to expand the range of content you write, developing your own professional skills and pushing the boundaries of what you can do. Autonomously own content contribution, requiring minimal project oversight. Actively ideate with your manager around new and innovative ways to tell stories.
