The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business revenue through effective sales strategies and techniques. The primary objective is to identify and secure new business opportunities, thereby contributing significantly to Paymentology’s revenue targets and market presence. This role entails proactive engagement with potential clients, understanding their needs, and effectively presenting tailored solutions to address those needs. Additionally, the Senior Sales Executive manages the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience for prospective clients.

New Business Opportunities:
- Create new business relationships and opportunities.
- Find and develop new prospects for Paymentology products.
- Develop strategies for identifying and pursuing new business prospects.
Pipeline Development:
- Work closely with the Regional Director to target key markets and prospects.
- Develop and grow sales pipeline with prospects and targets.
- Accurately report on the sales pipeline on an ongoing basis.
Prospect Management:
- Diagnose prospect needs and advise on the appropriate product or service solutions.
- Own the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract signing.
- Nurture and manage regional pipeline opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Manage complex commercial negotiations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and finance teams as needed.
- Take responsibility for sales tasks, including client contract signature.
Sales Targets:
- Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Grow Paymentology’s customer base in the region.
What it takes to succeed:
- 7+ years of Business Development experience in the fintech or payments space.
- Solution Sales experience and proven capability in managing complex sales processes.
- Knowledge of the cards and payments industry, and the issuing industry in particular.
- Detail-oriented, able to get to grips with the intricacies and complexities of the payments market and the economics which drive the business.
- Self-starter, able to define own priorities and deliver projects.
- Ability to qualify leads and to identify key stakeholders who will make the buying decisions.
- Able to work effectively with senior level stakeholders, both internal and external to the business.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills.
- Resilient mindset, ability to work under pressure, and focus on successful outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
