NVIDIA redefined modern computer graphics, high performance computing and artificial intelligence. We are well positioned as the βAI Computing Company,β and our GPUs are the brains powering Deep Learning software frameworks, accelerated analytics, big data, modern data centers, smart cities, and driving autonomous vehicles. If you are forward-thinking, hardworking, driven and if collaborating with extraordinary people across countries sounds interesting, this job is for you.
Weβre looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and versatile public affairs specialist to join our EMEA government relations team. Our technology is relevant to a wide range of sectors and policy areas, from climate and energy to manufacturing, and from healthcare to transportation. As the global geopolitical environment becomes increasingly complex, our government relations team is responsible for helping the company understand and navigate the regulatory environments in key geographies, and anticipate associated risks and opportunities.
What you’ll be doing:
This role is all about building NVIDIA’s profile with federal and state government representatives and relevant parliamentary groups in France. You will develop relationships with a wide range of actors across the ecosystem, including policy organisations, think tanks, national and regional initiatives, research institutions, trade associations, NGOs and industry partners. You’ll also play a leading role in the development of NVIDIA’s government relations strategy in France and across EMEA, contributing your knowledge of French and European public policy functions and practices to help the team succeed. In your day-to-day work you’ll plan, manage and undertake outreach to key internal and external stakeholders to achieve the team’s objectives. You will collaborate closely with wider NVIDIA teams, including sales, marketing, engineering and PR, to support their priorities with government relations insights and keep colleagues across regions aligned on NVIDIAβs policy priorities. Your role will involve building content, including internal and external messaging, to effectively articulate NVIDIAβs corporate positions.
We are looking for a team member with a background and existing network in government affairs. We want to see knowledge of regulatory processes and relevant policy areas in France, as well as some insight into the EU landscape. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are a must, including fluency in English and French. Additional language skills are helpful. Strong interpersonal, collaboration and organisational skills are essential, as well as the capacity to work in a self-directed way. Our team is small and distributed, so members need the ability to operate effectively as part of a multi-national, remote and highly matrixed organisation. You’ll take ownership of projects end-to-end, from concept to implementation, and be ready to use your creativity to overcome problems. Are you seeking the opportunity to build a government relations practice from the ground up for an exciting and highly respected tech company? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
What we need to see:
12+ yearsβ experience of working in a relevant organisation e.g. public affairs consultancy, government agency, trade association or in-house team
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge of the regulatory environment in France, especially relating to artificial intelligence, climate and energy. Insights into trade, competition and export control are also valuable
Interest and enthusiasm for the technology sector and awareness of key policy issues impacting the sector. Deep technical knowledge/experience in the tech sector is beneficial but not vital
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
The ideal candidate will be high-energy, organised, eager to learn and collaborate, and thrive on balancing multiple projects simultaneously while working across teams
Requires outstanding interpersonal skills, as youβll align with and influence internal and external decision makers at all levels
The work is brisk and varied, and perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment where no two days look alike
NVIDIA is widely considered one of the technology worldβs most desirable employers! We have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us, and if you’re creative and autonomous, we want to hear from you!
