The Client Services Associate supports the Client Services team across multiple strategic initiatives, including Implementations of new Health Plans, internal reporting on Sales metrics, monthly & quarterly client facing reporting, and coordination of projects across departments. The Client Services Associate supports the Client Services team across the entire book of business, keeping a log of the overall status of each Health Plan and assisting with the creation of deliverable material with priority being coordinated with the Director of Client Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities                                                                             

  • Accountable for the on time Implementation of new Health Plans, new lines of business, and new states
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure necessary tasks are completed
  • Schedule and actively participate in internal and external calls to provide status updates on the implementation and discuss upcoming tasks, taking lead on the internal calls
  • Accountable for the set-up and generation of PowerPoint slides for internal and external Client Services meetings
  • Review monthly Health Plan reports for consistency and accuracy, providing feedback to the Director, Client Services on any issues or trends
  • Serve as Salesforce expert for Client Services and Sales teams
  • Manage and update Vital Decisions’ Salesforce database
  • Scrub Salesforce information quarterly for accuracy and removal of duplicate entries
  • Create and maintain strategy documents and information related to Health Plan accounts.  This information will include company profiles, contract/SOW information, points of contact, communications status, areas of concern, and projects involving other internal teams
  • Monitor research tools for news and events related to existing Health Plan clients as well as  prospects that can trigger a meeting, note, or broadened awareness of the activities of the health care industry
  • Aid in the production of monthly sales reports distributed to the revenue team and ELT. This task may include gathering pertinent information, drafting and formatting slides for distribution to SVP or Chief Growth/Revenue Officer
  • Manage timeline and tasks for cross-functional projects involving the Client Services team
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with significant coursework in business administration, economics, marketing, public relations or related field strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in business development, healthcare, research or public relations work experience
  • Consulting experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Self-motivated, seeks to participate in support of new projects and business growth, highly versatile
  • Technically savvy (ability to use online resources for research, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to use Salesforce and other tools as required)
  • Detail oriented
  • Proven ability to develop cohesive and meaningful slide presentations based on quantitative data outputs
  • Strives to learn new ways to perform tasks that improve the efficiency or outcome
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with varying levels within the organization
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must understand and respect the importance of confidentiality in our industry and be able to maintain a professional demeanor while representing Vital Decisions

Travel Required

This is a remote position, working from your home office. Potential travel into the corporate headquarters in Edison, NJ up to 4 times a year.
