The Learning & Organization Development (L&OD) team at Dropbox is responsible for learning & development, onboarding, career management, performance and talent management, and succession planning. We’re looking for a strong program leader to join us on our journey to evolve performance and talent management at Dropbox. This role is an exciting opportunity to help define and implement our strategic talent roadmap for the coming years.
You will report to the Head of Talent Management & Org Effectiveness and partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Compensation, People Analytics, and business stakeholders to help define our performance management approach and drive our performance management process, as well as manage our talent review process.

Responsibilities

  • Program LeadershipOwn all aspects of the performance management cycle. Partner with the Head of Talent & OE and HRBPs to evolve our performance management, talent, and succession processes to support our strategic talent agenda. Independently manage our performance and talent processes, from program strategy, to planning, to end-to-end execution with some manager oversight.
  • Consulting: Consult with HRBPs and the business and serve as a trusted advisor/partner to design and execute talent processes that support the business
  • Operational Excellence: Drive operationally-effective processes that deliver a great employee and manager experience. Provide program oversight across multiple workstreams and drive tactical execution. Have a strong bent for process rigor and attention to detail
  • Analytics & measurement: Roll up the outcomes of calibrations/talent reviews and produce executive-level analyses and deliverables, bringing insights, industry benchmarking data, and recommendations. Drive a robust evaluation strategy to measure success and develop recommendations for improvement
  • Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with and drive a cross-functional team of HR Business Partners, Compensation, and Communications colleagues to deliver multi-phase performance management cycles and talent reviews. Partner with the Learning team to develop employee and manager training. Partner with People Analytics and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to ensure consistent, fair, and equitable talent processes
  • Technology management: Manage our talent processes leveraging our talent tech and tools, with an eye for efficiency, simplification, and optimal user experience. Work with our HR technology team and IT&S groups to co-manage implementations and tool refinements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years in HR or a talent management role at a global, dynamic company
  • 2+ years of experience leading performance management in a fast-paced environment; experience leading talent/succession planning a plus
  • Extraordinary project management skills and demonstrated experience leading complex programs and processes
  • Extreme attention to detail and strong analytic chops
  • Strong collaborator who builds deep relationships and effectively partners cross-functionally with global stakeholders at all levels
  • Adeptness at navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities while still driving the right solutions
  • Critical thinking skills and continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent presentation/verbal and written skills
  • Strong work ethic and a problem-solving orientation
  • Advanced MS Excel and strong PowerPoint skills
