GenesisCare now has the opportunity for experienced and driven technical leaders to join our IT Team in the role of Senior Field Services Specialists. Supporting our 2,500 users across 47 sites, you will be key to ensuring our mission of delivering world class care is achieved.

As a Senior Field Services Specialist, you will be a technical leader responsible for advanced on-site and Remote IT support across GenesisCare clinics and Shared Services. You will lead by example, mentor peers and shape the future of field services delivery.

More specifically, you will:

 

  • Deliver expert-level on-site and remote IT support, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues.

  • Lead and mentor Field Services team members, providing guidance, training, and technical escalation support.

  • Oversee and coordinate large-scale hardware and software deployments across multiple sites.

  • Act as a liaison between Field Services and other IT teams to ensure seamless service integration.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and documentation enhancements.

  • Champion IT security practices, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy standards.

  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Participate in the planning and execution of strategic IT projects and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Provide high-level reporting and insights to leadership on service performance and improvement opportunities.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centric service.

 

 We’re interested in hearing from people who have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or field services, preferably in healthcare or distributed environments.

  • Advanced proficiency in:

    • Windows OS (10/11), iOS, and Android platforms.

    • Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online).

    • Active Directory, Group Policy, and user lifecycle management.

    • Endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM).

    • Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and VLANs.

    • Telephony systems: VoIP, call routing, and handset configuration.

    • Hardware support: desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and medical devices.

    • Remote support tools: TeamViewer, Bomgar, or equivalent.

  • Experience with clinical systems, PACS/RIS, and healthcare IT environments.

  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., Halo, Jira) and ITIL frameworks.

  • Scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.

  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Australian Privacy Principles).

  • Full Australian Driver’s Licence.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical team members.

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
