The Role
Genmab is focused on creating and developing innovative antibody products that improve the lives of cancer patients. Our Quality Control (QC) Laboratory in Ballerup plays a key role in supporting these products through release and stability testing in accordance with ICH guidelines.
We are now looking for 3 Student Workers to join our QC Laboratory team. In this role, you will support day-to-day laboratory operations and ensure smooth, compliant processes in collaboration with technicians and scientists. You will report to the Team Lead and gain valuable hands-on experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
This is an exciting position offering approximately 15 hours per week with flexible working hours (preferably during the day to allow overlap with the lab team). The expected start date is mid-November 2025.
Responsibilities
Support daily lab operations by preparing reagents and buffers, washing and restocking glassware, and handling lab waste.
Ensure compliance and safety by collecting SDS documentation, performing basic risk assessments, and supporting updates to the ChemWatch system.
Maintain laboratory readiness through cleaning and organizing freezers and refrigerators, restocking materials, and ensuring proper labeling and storage according to SOPs.
Perform basic maintenance on simple and analytical instruments such as plate washers, SpectraMax ABS readers, and (in future) the Nanodrop.
Collaborate with QC technicians and scientists, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of tasks and updates across the team.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (preferably after 1–2 years) within Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
Reliable, proactive, and structured with strong attention to detail.
A team player with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
Comfortable working on-site in Ballerup, approximately 15 hours per week, ideally during daytime hours (2–4 hours per day).
Interest in developing practical experience within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
