Description

At Paymentology, we’re redefining what’s possible in the payments space. As the first truly global issuer-processor, we give banks and fintechs the technology and talent to launch and manage Mastercard, Visa cards at scale – across more than 60 countries.

Our advanced, multi-cloud platform delivers real-time data, unmatched scalability, and the flexibility of shared or dedicated processing instances. It’s this global reach and innovation that sets us apart.

We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to act as our subject matter expert for global People Operations, defining scalable frameworks, governing HRIS and data standards, and leading compliance programs across all regions. You’ll shape enterprise-wide onboarding/offboarding, data governance, and mobility processes, partnering closely with Legal, Payroll, IT, and Security while mentoring regional teams to adopt consistent, compliant ways of working.

What you get to do:

  • Define and maintain global frameworks for People Operations, including contracts, onboarding and offboarding standards, data governance, and compliance playbooks.
  • Serve as system owner for HRIS and mobility platforms, setting configuration standards, overseeing integrations, and managing enterprise-wide data quality.
  • Lead company-wide compliance programs covering employment law, immigration and mobility, GDPR, and benefits governance in partnership with cross-functional leaders.
  • Oversee enterprise-level people data reporting, delivering dashboards and metrics such as headcount, attrition, and mobility to inform executive decision-making.
  • Conduct and lead global audits, embedding operational controls to ensure regulatory readiness across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and managers to translate frameworks into practical adoption and provide authoritative compliance guidance.
  • Mentor and upskill People Ops Analysts and Coordinators to ensure global alignment with standards, tools, and documentation.

Requirements

What it takes to succeed:

  • Strong ownership of HRIS and people-data governance, integrations, and standards across multiple entities.
  • Expertise in global compliance, including immigration and mobility, GDPR, benefits administration, and multi-country employment law.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide programs such as audits, framework rollouts, and mobility initiatives, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with clear written documentation and policy design capability.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent global experience.
  • 7 to 9 years of experience in People Operations, HR compliance, or mobility within global fintech or SaaS environments.

What you can look forward to:

At Paymentology, it’s not just about building great payment technology, it’s about building a company where people feel they belong and their work matters. You’ll be part of a diverse, global team that’s genuinely committed to making a positive impact through what we do. Whether you’re working across time zones or getting involved in initiatives that support local communities, you’ll find real purpose in your work – and the freedom to grow in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
