About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Head of B2B Acquisition & Retention to own the entire journey for our Professionals. You will be the architect of the professional experience, designing and executing strategies that drive growth at every stage from initial awareness and acquisition through to successful onboarding, long-term retention, and upselling.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for defining customer segmentation, setting lifecycle goals, and optimising media investment to achieve key financial and performance targets. You will work in close collaboration with Product, Commercial, and Performance Marketing teams

Responsibilities

  • Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee all seller acquisition funnels across organic and paid channels. Partner with the Product team to design and deliver effective seller onboarding and activation programs.

  • End-to-End Lifecycle Strategy: Develop and own the comprehensive seller lifecycle strategy, including segmentation, journey mapping, and communication flows to drive engagement and value.

  • Retention & Growth: Implement sophisticated lifecycle campaigns and automations to increase seller retention, reduce churn, and drive adoption of higher-tier subscriptions.

  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership: Act as the key marketing stakeholder for new product and subscription launches, responsible for briefing the Product Marketing team and signing off on GTM execution plans to ensure successful seller adoption.

Key outcomes you will own

  • Financial Metrics:
    • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): Achieving a gross margin payback within a target of X months.

    • Lifetime Value (LTV): Meeting LTV goals and maintaining a healthy CAC:LTV ratio (shared with the CCO).

  • Performance Metrics:
    • Adoption Rates: Driving adoption of our subscription tiers.

    • Sign-up Rates: Increasing conversions for key products

    • Channel Growth: Driving significant adoption and engagement with our App and WhatsApp channels

    • High levels of retention on products, meeting industry benchmarks
