Job Description Summary

Business Analyst in Digital Technology responsible for the management and support of the functional and operational components during the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) projects. In this role, you will lead the functional aspects of projects across multiple sites and deploy the MES application in various plants. Additionally, you will support the product strategy for the Manufacturing Execution Systems roadmap. Our MES application is in-house developed and is a cloud-based tool being developed for GE Vernova businesses. You will manage, coordinate, and coach partners with functional stakeholders to ensure the realization of expected outcomes for internal customers.

Job Description

In this role you will

  • Collaborate with business partners and development team to define requirements, changes and new enhancement and plan user stories.
  • Help define and prioritize deliverables targeted to deliver most business value.
  • Work closely with development teams to plan / track sprints and adjust it base on business / product development priorities.
  • Support product roadmap definition aligned with product and modules priorities. Proactively work with development teams to identify enhancement and optimization opportunities on existing functionalities and services.
  • Participate to the new implementations & deployments and modules deployments aligned with testing per sites, prioritize the change request releases for MES. 
  • Participate to continuous trainings aligned with new released and modules deployments.
  • Partner with leadership of technical and development teams external to the organization to ensure sufficient support and engagement.
  • Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics against service level. Ensure lessons learned are collected.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably from the STEM field is advantageous (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
  • Preferably part of the GEV DTLP program & DTLP graduating.

Desired Skills:

  • Proactive professional able to open complex topics to analyze and describe processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
  • Preferably background in manufacturing process design or execution.
  • Business analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of setting targets, executing a plan, and delivering results.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization, and with other GE Vernova businesses and partners.
  • Familiar with collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet.
