🌟 Your Mission: As CUJU’s first Senior Data Scientist, you’ll pioneer our data science initiatives, harnessing massive datasets of player performance to unlock new insights and products. Your analyses and predictive models will directly influence strategic decision-making, enhance player development, and revolutionize how football talent is identified and nurtured.

Tasks

What You’ll Work On:

  • Data Exploration & Modeling: Analyze extensive datasets from player performance, training sessions, and diagnostic assessments to uncover meaningful patterns and insights.
  • Predictive Analytics: Develop robust predictive models using machine learning, statistical analysis, and advanced analytics techniques to forecast performance, injury risks, and talent potential.
  • Data Product Development: Collaborate closely with Product, AI, and Engineering teams to translate analytical insights into innovative, data-driven product features and offerings.
  • Strategic Influence: Drive data-driven decision-making across product development, business strategy, and operational improvements.

Requirements

🧠 What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist and 3 years of them in production, ideally within performance analytics, sports analytics, or related fields.
  • Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, predictive analytics, and big data analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and relevant data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data insights into clear, impactful business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Passionate about sports, performance analytics, and leveraging data to make a real-world impact.
