Long Form Writer

As we become louder and prouder about sharing our unique story, we’re expanding our main marketing site business.pinterest.com. That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a writer with experience writing longer-form thought-leadership and data-driven stories that generate engagement and buzz. You’ll be part of our Content and Writing team, creating content that inspires brands, creators and advertising agencies to take action.

Come help us tell our story—and help our audiences grow their businesses on Pinterest. This is a 12-month contract assignment with the possibility to extend. If you’ve got an obsession for words, a heart for storytelling and a yearning to write for an iconic brand, you could be just the person for the job.

What you’ll do:

• Craft longform content like thought-leadership articles and insights pieces based on Pinterest research and third-party data
• Partner with teams across the company to develop blog posts that help our audiences understand how to use Pinterest for their business
• Write copy for our evergreen marketing pages that increases awareness of our users, products and best practices
• Join forces with passionate researchers, designers, producers and marketers to find new ways to share with the world what Pinterest is and how to use it

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years experience steeped in the wordly arts (content strategy, copywriting, professional blogging, journalism, marketing)
• A passion for finding and telling stories using data and trends
• Ideally you have a background working across b2b and creator audiences
• You’re a practiced persuader! You can back up your recommendations with sound reasoning and represent your thinking with conviction

• This is a temporary contract position at Pinterest. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (PRO Unlimited) or by an agency supplier partner, and not an employee of Pinterest.
• All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the Pinterest assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, PRO Unlimited or the agency supplier partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details.
