The People Operations team at Clover is a passionate, mission-driven group committed to transforming healthcare and enhancing people’s lives—a challenging yet deeply rewarding mission. This role is dedicated to supporting our In-Home Care (IHC) team, whose interdisciplinary team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and others collaborating to provide comprehensive home-based care.
We are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous Physician Recruiting Lead to own and build our end-to-end recruiting program for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). You will partner directly with clinical leadership to support the rapid growth of our In-Home Care program in New Jersey and Georgia. You will be responsible for developing strategies to increase our brand recognition, building deep networks of clinical talent, and establishing strong relationships with residency and fellowship programs. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role for a seasoned recruiter who is passionate about building high-performing clinical teams from the ground up and mentoring others.
As a Physician Recruiting Lead, you will:
- Own the end-to-end recruiting strategy and execution for all physician and APP hiring for our In-Home Care program.
- Partner with clinical leadership across New Jersey and Georgia to understand workforce needs, define hiring goals, and build a scalable recruiting function.
- Develop and manage relationships with residency/fellowship programs, professional associations, and other key sourcing channels.
- Identify and attend conferences and events to increase brand recognition and build talent pipelines in target markets.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on clinical recruiting, mentoring and upskilling other members of the recruiting team and contract partners.
- Analyze data and market trends to drive continuous improvement in our recruiting process, reporting on key metrics to stakeholders.
Success in this role looks like:
- In the first 90 days, you have begun building trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinical leadership and the People Operations team. You have developed a short and long-term strategy for a successful physician recruiting program.
- In the first 6 months, you have successfully hired key roles for multiple pods supporting our growing In-Home Care program in New Jersey and Georgia. You have a clear, executable plan to meet aggressive growth goals for 2026 and beyond.
- In the future, you will be a fully integrated and trusted member of both the Recruiting and Clover Care Services teams. Your hiring success has been a direct enabler for the In-Home Care program to reach many new members across our geographies, bringing critical care to those who need it most.
You should get in touch if:
- You have significant full-cycle recruiting experience with a proven track record of hiring physicians (MD/DO) and Advanced Practice Providers (NPs, PAs). Strong preference for having a vast network of clinical talent and proven experience hiring these roles across New Jersey.
- You are a highly autonomous, strategic operator who has experience building and scaling a clinical recruiting program, ideally from an early stage.
- You excel at building trusted relationships and partnering with senior clinical leadership to drive hiring strategy and execution.
- You have deep experience in proactive sourcing, building talent pipelines, and managing relationships with academic programs and professional associations.
- You are passionate about Clover’s mission to improve every life and are energized by the opportunity to build the teams that deliver care directly to our members.
