ECS is seeking a Billing Supervisor to work in our Fairfax, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

ECS is looking for a seasoned government contracts billing leader. Excellent opportunity to grow and develop in an expanding organization. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise a team of 7 Billing Specialists (direct report)
  • Approve timesheets, prepare and conduct annual performance reviews
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Billing Team
  • Mentor and develop Billing Specialists
  • Track and report billing metrics
  • Assist Billing Team with their invoicing inquiries and issues by providing resolution in a timely manner
  • May require some billing (FFP, T&M, CPxx) to include retro rate adjustments, as needed
  • Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Analyze monthly unbilled receivables, research and resolve issues
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and collections issues
  • Support testing and development of future process improvement initiatives
  • Provide ad hoc support to AR Manager as needed

Salary Range: $110,000 – $125,000

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • 5+ yrs experience in government contract billing
