MISSION STATEMENT

As a valued member in the External Operations Supply Chain team, you will have overall responsibility for Supply Planning Operations for assigned suppliers & region and will report directly to the Supply Chain Head.

You will lead a supply planning team and play a crucial role in ensuring Zentiva’s customers’ and patients’ needs are met, offering the highest service at competitive cost. You will be responsible for maximizing customer as well as supplier service, minimizing out of stock situations, creating and executing strategies to improve the quality of the planning processes, increasing business profitability and customer satisfaction while optimizing the Customer Service, Cash Flow (E.g. optimal Inventory) Cost and Capabilities. You will responsible for the team’s management and performance.

Working collaboratively with External Suppliers/CMO, Quality, Supplier Relationship Management, Internal Markets and Zentiva Global Functions (Regulatory ,Artwork and Portfolio Management), this position is responsible for managing and coordinating the supply planning activities for all external suppliers from assigned portfolio to ensure reliable product supply to market consistent with Zentiva objectives, customer service level and inventory management targets.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Lead a supply planning team setting tasks, supporting escalations, performance evaluation and development
  • Create transparency on available supply, identify, coordinate and addresses short- and long-term bottlenecks, closely collaborating with Suppliers and Zentiva Commercial Directors to mitigate shortage risks
  • Coordinate all stakeholders during crisis, and responsible for applying rules of allocation for Local/Global crisis; create scenarios to support decision making process
  • Identify drivers of longer term performance improvement; Define the direction and implement action plan to guide supply planning team.
  • Support target setting and monitoring of key metrics to drive continuous cost and service improvement
  • Run, maintain and as required upgrade, planning tools
  • Support supply introduction of new product portfolios
  • Identify and drive value improvements together with team such as order grouping, transport lane and mode optimisation, Minimum Order Quantity adjustments
  • Lead, manage and drive a culture of continuous improvement, contribution to the sider ESO supply chain team across locations, building capabilities and facilitating Zentiva-wide knowledge and best-practice sharing across all facets of the operations (safety, quality, cost, service) to support the Zentiva strategy
  • The employee will perform other tasks under the direction of the Head of Supply Chain within the agreed type of work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Experience in all Supply Chain areas: demand & stock management, reporting, planning, requirement planning or MRP advanced knowledge
  • Five (5) or more years of experience excelling in supply chain and business/industry (previous experience in pharmaceutical company is a plus)
  • Preferred Bachelor degree in economics/ engineering/ logistics/ management.
  • Proven management skills and a competence in people management with strong communication skills and positive energy giver
  • Strategic and analytical mind, attention to detail and creative problem solver
  • Customer orientated mindset
  • Advanced English
