We are accompanying tens of thousands of international students and skilled workers on their entire journey from study preparation and visa application to arriving and living in Germany.
We are looking for a seasoned Head of People to build and lead the strategic and operational HR function for our group including:
Build, lead and develop the entire HR function across the group
Drive strategic workforce planning in close collaboration with the executive team
Lead cultural and change management efforts in a post-merger environment
Develop leadership programs and offer executive coaching to managers
Harmonize HR systems and processes across the merged organizations
Ensure HR compliance (labor law, internal policies, data protection, etc.)
Oversee all operational People topics: recruiting, onboarding, payroll, learning & development
Act as sparring partner for the management team and department leads in all HR-related matters
Monitor and strengthen employee satisfaction, retention & engagement
Implement and maintain a scalable performance and feedback system
10–15 years of experience in HR, ideally in start-ups or scale-ups
Proven leadership experience in building or leading an HR team
Deep understanding of organizational development, culture, and leadership enablement
Track record in implementing a holistic people strategy, experience in post-merger-integrations is a plus
Experience with remote or hybrid working environments
Solid knowledge of labor law and regulatory HR topics
Excellent communication skills at C-level in English, German is a plus
