Hometown Animal Hospital/All Pets Dental Clinic is an NVA owned & AAHA accredited general practice/dental referral clinic located in Weston, Florida. A Veterinary Assistant works side-by-side with the doctor to provide care and treatment to patients. A Veterinary Assistant generates treatment plans as recommended by the doctor, presents them to the client and explains the necessity and value of each item recommended. The Vet Assistant also helps maintain the doctor’s schedule, handles client communication when the doctor is unavailable, transcribes notes as dictated by the doctor, and assists with executing treatments during the appointment flow. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service are essential. Strong reading, writing and math skills are required. Both full-time and part-time applications are welcomed!
