Position Overview:

The Vice President, Account Management (Strategic Accounts) is responsible for leading Datavant’s relationships with a portfolio of highly complex, strategically important provider customers. This role owns retention, revenue growth, executive engagement, and value realization across assigned accounts, ensuring Datavant is positioned as a long-term strategic partner within each customer organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own overall relationship health, retention, and growth for assigned strategic provider accounts
* Lead executive-level engagement and multi-threaded relationships across customer organizations
* Develop and execute account strategies aligned to customers’ business objectives, market dynamics, and growth initiatives
* Drive renewals, renegotiations, and expansion opportunities in partnership with GTM and Finance
* Champion adoption of Datavant’s digital solutions, global workflows, and modernized operating models
* Proactively identify account risk and lead resolution of high-impact customer issues
* Translate operational performance into clear, value-based narratives for senior customer stakeholders
* Partner closely with Service Delivery to ensure transparency, alignment, and issue resolution
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Implementation, and Marketing to deliver on customer commitments
* Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and CRM documentation

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
* 8–12+ years experience in healthcare account management, strategic sales, or services
