Key Skills

Paid Media Paid Social LinkedIn Ads Meta Ads Google Ads Performance Marketing Demand Generation Campaign Optimization Analytics A/B Testing

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Paid Media Manager position at Cision. With over five years of experience managing paid media campaigns across digital channels, I have a proven track record of driving demand generation and optimizing performance. My expertise includes leading paid social efforts on LinkedIn and Meta, as well as supporting paid search activations.

I am particularly drawn to Cision's emphasis on collaboration and innovation. In my previous role, I successfully developed and executed campaigns that exceeded ROI targets through data-driven optimization and A/B testing. I am confident that my skills in analytics and cross-functional teamwork will enable me to contribute effectively to your marketing objectives.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how I can help drive growth at Cision.

Can you describe your experience managing paid social campaigns on LinkedIn and Meta? What strategies have you used to optimize performance?
I have managed multiple campaigns on LinkedIn and Meta, focusing on targeting, creative testing, and bid optimization. For example, I used LinkedIn's account-based targeting to reach key decision-makers and implemented A/B testing on ad creatives on Meta to improve CTR by 20%.
How do you approach campaign performance analysis and reporting? What metrics do you prioritize?
I prioritize metrics aligned with campaign goals, such as ROAS, CPA, and conversion rate. I use tools like Google Analytics and platform dashboards to track performance weekly. I focus on identifying trends and areas for improvement, then create reports that highlight key insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Describe a time you had to optimize a campaign that was underperforming. What steps did you take?
In one case, a LinkedIn campaign had a high CPL. I analyzed audience segmentation and found we were targeting too broadly. I refined the targeting to specific job titles and industries, adjusted the bidding strategy, and tested new ad copy. This reduced CPL by 30% within two weeks.
How do you stay current with digital advertising trends and platform updates? Can you give an example of a recent change you applied?
I regularly follow industry blogs and participate in webinars. For instance, when Meta introduced Advantage+ shopping campaigns, I tested them for a client and saw a 15% increase in ROAS compared to standard campaigns.
How do you collaborate with cross-functional teams like creative and content to ensure campaign success?
I hold regular alignment meetings with creative and content teams to ensure messaging and visuals match campaign objectives. I provide briefs with performance insights and encourage iterative feedback, which helps improve ad relevance and engagement.
