I would validate the implementation continuously across breakpoints and browsers, use progressive enhancement where appropriate, and measure performance with Lighthouse and real-user-oriented metrics. Describe your approach to diagnosing and improving performance in a Next.js application. I would first profile the issue to identify whether it comes from rendering, JavaScript execution, images, fonts, third-party scripts, or network behavior. For a Next.js application, I would apply techniques such as route-level code splitting, optimized images and fonts, server rendering or static generation where appropriate, and selective client-side hydration.
