I would then define a small vertical slice, establish clear interface contracts, build observability and error handling early, and iterate with stakeholders before expanding the integration. What does high-quality, maintainable full-stack code mean to you? I prioritize code that is readable, modular, well-tested, and aligned with agreed team conventions. During review, I focus on correctness, security, maintainability, performance, and whether the implementation solves the intended user problem rather than simply prescribing stylistic preferences. How do you balance delivery of new features with reducing technical debt? I would assess technical debt by its user impact, delivery risk, security implications, and cost of leaving it unresolved.
