In this role, you’ll help architect and build the interconnected systems that run the business, leveraging third party tools, MCP servers, internal APIs, lightweight web apps, and automated workflows. This is a role for a Python engineer who wants to build, deploy, and maintain high impact, in-house tools and automation. Our team is small, high-trust, and values clarity, maintainability, and getting the details right. What You’ll Do * Build and maintain MCP servers that expose data platform capabilities and enterprise business systems to internal tools and AI workflows in a deterministic way * Build internal APIs to enrich the ecosystem of programmatically addressable resources * Build lightweight web apps and dashboards using Streamlit to support internal processes * Develop stateful applications that ensure SOP of various processes are followed in order * Develop and maintain automated workflows and pipelines in Python * Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to a culture of technical quality What We’re Looking For Required * 2+ years of Python experience * 1+ years of full-stack development * Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases * Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Nice to Have * Background in fintech, payments, or financial services * Experience building or working with MCP servers * Experience designing and building APIs (FastAPI or Flask preferred) * Experience with Streamlit or similar lightweight UI frameworks * Experience with Deterministic LLM programming (ie. LangChain, UserPromptSubmit, PostToolUse) * Experience with OLTP databases and caching technologies * Familiarity with workflow automation tools (ie.
