This is not a traditional engineering role. You are not maintaining production systems or working through a standard product backlog – this is a 0-1 Builder role. Other days it means automating a painful workflow, wiring tools together, creating a self-serve template, or using AI to move from vague idea to working prototype faster than a traditional process would allow. The stronger signal is that you learn quickly, stay current as the AI landscape changes, and use AI itself to close gaps in your own experience. ### Strong Advantages * Experience building demos, internal tools, workflow automations, AI-assisted products, or SDK-based integrations. * Familiarity with LLM APIs, agent orchestration, MCP, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt versioning, context engineering, Bloomreach or similar platforms, or Shopify/ecommerce demo environments. * UX intuition: you know which sharp edges a demo needs softened to make it feel clear, credible, and impressive. * Experience in presales, solutions engineering, developer advocacy, or another customer-facing technical context. After 60-90 days: At least one AI-powered demo, automation, self-serve workflow, or internal tool is being used by Solution Consultants or Demo Engineering.
