As Affirm Bank is currently in its formation phase, we are actively building out our foundational team. Reporting to the Bank CFO, the Bank Head of FP&A will be central to this effort, playing a key role in the formation and operational build-out of the Bank. The Bank Head of FP&A will play a critical role in building the team and leading day-to-day finance operations. Core responsibilities include managing the forecasting and budget process, developing robust financial models, capital stress testing and monitoring, financial analysis, and partnering with Affirm, Inc. cross-functional teams on financial workflows. What you’ll do * Team Leadership & Talent Development: Build and lead the Bank strategic finance team, providing strategic direction, recruitment, and coaching as we establish the function. * Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the end-to-end forecasting and budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals during this critical startup phase. Perform rigorous financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making. * Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and forecasting for the Bank. * Capital Strategy: Oversee capital stress testing and ongoing monitoring.
