(better known as Hims & Hers) is looking for an experienced Manager, Material Scientist to support and scale our research and development capabilities. This role will partner closely with the VP of R&D and Innovation to help build and lead material science and pre-formulation efforts, while establishing the infrastructure needed to support continued product innovation and growth. The Manager will play a critical role in bridging early-stage drug concepts with final formulations, supporting the developability of new and existing products. This includes physicochemical characterization, excipient compatibility, and material risk assessment to ensure quality, stability, and scalability across our portfolio. You will serve as a key subject matter expert in pre-formulation and material science, helping to shape how these capabilities evolve at Hims & Hers. This is a highly hands-on role with a strong focus on technical execution, while also contributing to longer-term capability building. You’ll work across a range of dosage forms and product types, supporting both new product development and improvements to existing formulations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to bringing new products from concept through development and into market.
