I would also test failure scenarios, document runbooks, and regularly review capacity, costs, and incident patterns.

How would you address FISMA or FedRAMP-related infrastructure requirements in day-to-day DevOps work?

I would translate control requirements into repeatable technical guardrails, including encryption, audit logging, access reviews, vulnerability scanning, configuration baselines, change records, and evidence collection. Infrastructure as code and automated compliance checks help make controls consistent, reviewable, and easier to demonstrate during assessments.

How do you collaborate effectively with application developers and architects in a remote Agile environment?

I involve partners early when defining platform patterns, publish concise documentation and examples, and use regular planning and technical discussions to surface tradeoffs. I also make operational data visible through dashboards and post-incident reviews so that reliability decisions are based on shared evidence rather than handoffs.

What you’ll be doing:

* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines including automated scanning, testing, and deployment workflows
* Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform with emphasis on reusable modules and secure configuration baselines
* Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure including ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, and Secrets Manager
* Work with Kubernetes and containerized environments including Argo Workflows
* Support enterprise adoption of AI engineering platforms including Amazon Bedrock, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Cursor
* Partner with Architecture and Development teams to implement reliable, scalable infrastructure patterns
* Build internal tooling to support development and operational workflows

What you’ll bring:

* Hands-on experience with AWS and core cloud infrastructure management
* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
* Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and environment management
* Experience with ECS and containerized deployments
* Familiarity with Argo Workflows is a plus
* Security engineering experience (FISMA, FedRAMP, or ATO) is a plus
* Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team
* Communicates clearly and openly, whether documenting infrastructure decisions or coordinating with engineering teams
